Anyone tried the universal ebay turbo kits?

Wasn't trying to be cheap, just curious if these would work with a little modifying on our 3.6l's? I don't see why they wouldn't if you could get the tubing and all to fit correctly. I mean for the headache you might have installing...450$? who can beat that?? If you got the knowledge to do it yourself that is...

and 449$

eBay is good for cheap stuff I would never buy a major part for my car/motor from eBay.

As the old adage goes, you get what you pay for!

It's sad that eBay kit looks better than a former vendor created

Yeah but do you see what im getting at though? 450$ for a basic line kit that youll have to fit yourself.. that's a hell of a lot better than 6700$ I really wonder if anyones tried it. For 500$ and even if you get 50wrhp from it, who can buy a mod that adds 50hp to our cars for under 500$?

I agree, cheap HP. On the other hand, could be 500 for a kit that's completely untunable it makes your engine go boom from KR.

What if they all skip over it to avoid the headache because of the off name brand though..it would be interesting to see someone try one atleast lol. I mean all of you said you wouldn't buy a ebay brand turbo...and I posted this thread because I know I probably wouldn't haha. Maybe were skipping over something that could actually be a cheap head turner!

Or even if you bought just the manifold and piping on ebay for 294$ and then a name brand turbo for 800$ like these ones:
http://www.precisionturbo.net/turboc...rbochargers/18

That's still only 1200$ max out of the customers pocket

I say buy it and install it then give us a true "feed-back" on the system and all the added costs of making it work!
