Brother's Car
First post here. I just wanted to show you guys my brothers new camaro. My brother is currently on his 3rd tour in Afghanistan and has not seen (in person) or driven his car yet. Cool thing is he is having me break in the car for him ,(using one of the methods of this forum) so when he gets back for a couple weeks here in August he will be able to take it to the track and have a little fun. The Camaro is the 2010 SS/RS model In IOM. The car originally had the white rally stripes but my brother wanted a clean looking car, so those had to go. The factory wheels were powder coated black and the windows were tinted. The car is going in today to be lowered 1" so it doesn't look like a truck. After that it will be sitting pretty. My brother and I are huge Camaro fans and I am gonna have a hard time handing over the keys when he gets back. I am enjoying every minute in this car and I think GM hit a home run with it. These forums have a great deal of good info, and I have relayed allot of that info to my brother so he can make decisions on his car while he's not here. Thanks to all who contribute.

She's a beauty! IOM ftw That's some serious trust your brother has in you to break in his new baby, have fun with it! I hope he makes it home safely.

Looks more like the Victory red -- RJT in the shade is much darker and sexier
Would have liked to have seen it with the white stripes since many people do black on the IOM....

I couldn't tell either with the camera fuzziness. I can't believe he's letting you drive his car while he's gone when he hasn't even gotten into it yet. If I bought a car, only I would be allowed to drive it first.

He is definately deserving of this car and he will be driving that thing every minute he can while he's back. I got pretty lucky being able to put the fist miles on his ride. He told me that "I am going to be really jealous of you, but I want you to have it broke in and ready for me when I get home." Who am I to argue with that?! I can't wait until he gets home to see this monster. My reaction at the dealer was crazy and I don't own the thing I cant imagine what he is going to do when he sees it. He will appriciate all your thought and prayers. He will be home for two weeks in august and then back to the sandbox. Thanks for all the nice comments.
