Is GMPP working on an intake qualified for use with factory warranty?

I have a 2012 and want to do the GMPP axle back and would also enjoy the ability to go with a qualified cold air system that could be used within the confines of the warranty with no issues should a warranty claim be required. I had thought that I once saw something where GM was working on something. Have any of you any information on this topic?

I remember reading about a GM intake a while back, but I don't think it was ever produced. It would have probably been made by another company anyway. Then they would've stamped the GM logo on it and charged twice the cash. That's basically what the GMPP exhaust is; I believe it's made by Borla? You could just buy the Borla exhaust, have the same system and save a bunch of money.

In theory, cold air intakes and exhausts should not void your warranty.

Talk to your dealer service manager. I have intake, cam, headers and a tune and didn't have any problem getting my driveline replaced. It was a bad bearing, 530 BHP had nothing to do with it.

Unless you get warranty work that absolutly requires them to hook up to the ECM, GM won't know. My dealership doesn't say anything to GM unless they ask.

Yea, i'm thinking my little POS local dealer would have no part of this. I was thinking that if they rebadged an AEM or something and sold it for two times the money with their blessing.... I would be all over that.
