It is a great place to buy your mods. Even if it's not on location you get to speak directly to the experts and just have it shipped or in many cases installed right there.

At the most you may need a helmet but I doubt you will. Anything faster than 13.99 and you need a helmet. You will need to wear long pants no matter what. And whatever you do DON"T run your A/C when waiting to go. I will personally slash all your tires!! |

On the helmets..I don't think they rent them there. You'll have to check with the track. If not someone may be able to loan you one. Worse case it'll cost you a $100. The problem with the AC is that it drips water on the track. Even if you run it waiting to get to the line then shut it off, the water will drip out of the line and on the track. Then my 9 second car comes up and hits the water at full throttle and about slams the wall. It happened so much last year we had to ask the tower to make multiple announcements. It didn't really help all that much. Mlee knows all about it. We all cried to him about it. |

It was a blast last year and the host hotel was very nice. My entire weekend (2 days/nights) expense was under $400. My only mod was a $4 Camaro5 window sticker. Oh yea, and a $15 T shirt.

Is there a list of the vendors that will be at the fest anywhere yet?
