My 2LT/RS Black on Black

I have a 2010 Camaro 2LT/RS that I just got about two months ago, and I love it. It is a 2LT/RS auto, Black with black interior, sunroof. Im wanting to basically black everything out as many others are trying to do. Ill try and post pics and info, Im new so dont rush me lol, I think Ill get the hang of it more I do it. But anyway I just kinda wanted to keep a journal as well and for info and stuff to do ideas and so forth. So any ideas just let me know what you think, say whats on your mind I can take negative comments as well I just want to know. So if you have any questions just ask ill try to respond in reasonable time. Thanks alot guys

Hey Jamison, welcome to Camaro5! the sites great. Im also looking to black out a couple things when i get mine, i suggest power coating the stock rims its about 400-500 and its all seasons insted of rims (2 seasons only) also check out the midnight tail lights those look amazing.

I have a 2LT/RS in black also. Love it. But I won't be going the all black treatment. For me the car is sinister looking enough. Been thinking of getting some Polished or chrome wheels to set it off a bit more. We each can look at out cars as a blank canvas right now.

Good Luck!

Thank you, Im still kind of getting used to all of the stuff the site has to offer (to much info to take in at once lol) but I set up a photobucket so hopefully I can get up some pics here soon. And ya Im planning on doing the wheels in black sometime here soon hopefully within a month and I already got one quote for sand blasting and powercoating and muffler tips its gonna be around $220 but I have a buddy that might be able to get me a little bit better price we will find out tomorow. Haha and ya for the black canvas I thought about leaving it with the polished wheels how it is now you will see pics here soon of how it looks how it sits, but anyways thanks for the goodluck and also goodluck with yours im just happy to be part of the site its awesome. Ill get some pics up here soon

Heres how it looks after I removed the camaro emblems, had all the lights tinted besides reverse and head lights gotta get use to the dark tint first, and I painted the tail light rings black and if you notice both bowites are removed the front one was drying because I painted the stock one and I took the back one off because Im going to go a different route on what I want back there, hope you like

Ya its 35% but there not to bad around here on tint laws but Im sure I will get some attention but hopefully the cops give me some slack because my car looks good lol, ya it wasnt to hard to take the rings out at all just take off that little access panel when you open the trunk and they just kinda snap out I just stuck a bone (hard thin piece of plastic) under the bottom and they popped right out maybe took ten min if that to get them out. And they dont really serve a purpose other than to have a lil trim around the lights, I took them out and rubbed them down with this stuff I found in my garage that takes any oils off so they didnt fish eye or anything and painted them with black gloss rust oleum and they came out really good, I also painted my bowtie with it and it came out good too heres a pic of that its been raining but I took a quick shot anyway

With the rims blacked out I think you've crossed into "looks like a hearse" territory.
Leave the rims polished to set it off. The rest of the job looks really sweet to me.
One mans opinion.
