Aeroforce Interceptor Dual Gauges

Does anyone know, or can confirm with a picture, if the Aeroforce Interceptor gauges display oil pressure?

Pictures are good.
Thanks!

Yes sir, this is from Aeroforce's site.

"The two analog inputs can be configured through menu choices. A linear conversion can be entered so that an analog signal connected to the gauge can be read in appropriate units. These inputs are handy for pressure signals such as those from MAP and oil pressure sensors, analog outputs from Air/Fuel ratio kits, etc. These signal can then be read and recorded along side the other parameters obtained on the vehicle's bus. "

Awesome gauges, I've had a set i've been sitting on for like a year, wish I could get them installed lol.

Yes they will. I have dual aeroforce gauges. You can have them read oil pressure through the CAN bus (which I believe is just an algorithm and not true pressure) or you can use a remote sensor wired up somewhere.

The reason I believe it is an algorithm is based on some experiments I read on a G8 board where a person had pressure readings from the CAN bus and from a mechanical gauge. The mechanical gauge always read higher than the CAN bus. Also, GM says 7psi for oil pressure is the minimum at idle.

So basically I still have to find a place to tap in for oil pressure or splice the wire from the OEM sender. I want a true representation of oil pressure so I might just use a stand alone oil pressure gauge and get the single Aeroforce gauge.

Any one know of a good spot to put an oil pressure aftermarket tap or oil pressure sensor? Again pictures would be helpful. I have searched the forum but not a whole lot comes up.

Thanks again!
