LOF for the ZL1...
I'm kind of a fanatic when it comes to vehicle maintenance. I usually exceed manufacturer's recommendations especially when it comes to oil changes. After break-in, assuming that oil consumption is minimal & all gaskets don't have leakage issues, I opt for synthetic lubricants like MOBIL-1. I've used it in a '92 DODGE Stealth R/T Twin Turbo, a '98 MITSUBISHI 3000GT VR-4 & a '12 NISSAN Altima 3.5SR coupe with excellent results. I intend to use MOBIL-1 in my ZL1 after break-in & was wondering if any members here had another favorite brand that they would suggest that might even be more appropriate.

The car was born with Mobil-1 and that is all I am going to use.

Mobil 1 for sure plus there aren't to many Dexos1 approved oil's out there. Dexos1 spec. oil is required for the LSA. The 5w30 grade oil is the only Mobil 1 which is Dexos1 approved. That and a AC filter for my ZL1

I really go by GM computer.They work very hard to make sure you have been covered
