2012 V6 owners in So Cal - K & N needs your car..

I've been researching cold air intakes for my new 2012 RS V6. Upon examination of installation instructions for K & N p/n 63-3075, I noticed my MAF sensor looked different than one one pictured. I found a post from a guy who tried to install the kit on his 2012, a no go due to MAF design change. Today I contacted K & N regarding a 2012 kit and received this response (name omitted):

"Thank you for your interest in K&N intakes. At this time, K&N does not have an intake kit available for the 2012 Camaro V6. K&N is currently looking for this model Camaro for testing and development. If you are interested in submitting your vehicle for testing and are located in the southern California area, please follow the link that I have provided below on our website www.knfilters.com.

http://www.knfilters.com/search/vehicle.aspx?V=C

If you have any further questions, please contact our customer service line 1-800-858-3333.

Thank you for writing,

K&N Engineering Inc."

This is a great opportunity for someone in southern California to help fellow 2012 V6 owners out. Who knows, might be a free kit in there upon retail release. Hope someone can help..

A damn fine one too. But K&N's 2011 part for ~$249 is what I'd like to pay for a 2012 version.
