Rev Limiter
At what RPM will the rev limiter kick in on a manual transmission?

I know on an automatic it's around 4000. Probably about the same for the manual

I think it's a little higher, like 6600, i know when I added the extra boost to my car I had them pull the limiter back so I didn't over do it and now it's at 6400.

The rev limiter is 6700 if I remember correctly. That's auto and manual. |

Isn't the rev limiter just a idle? Cause if so, my car won't let me go over about 4300. Sorry if I have the wrong idea about rev limiter

A rev limiter is an rpm where the engine loses power. It's programmed into the ECM as a fail safe to protect the engine.

Always Park Next To Camaros.???? Why would you type that? Do you like door dings?

I'm saying park next to other camaros as to avoid door dings by other people who don't care.

That is not reassuring, on my bikes I can hit the rev limiters all day long and not do any damage. Why have a limiter if it's set too hi?
