WILL THE 2SS/RS BODY TAKE 22" RIMS?

Guys,
My first Q is will 22" rims fit front and back of the 2SS/RS without any rolling?

2nd Q, I have a Magnum with 22" wheels. What is the bolt pattern for the Camaro? Does anyone know. The 22's that I have now have kinda multiple holes so I'm hoping they will fit the 2SS.

As this is going to be my summer car, I was gonna NOT upgrade to the polished Aluminium wheels for $400+ more and just use my 22's which I'm very happy with.

Can anyone help me out with this PLEASE!

EDIT!! Before the change over, I need to do my first and serious burn out.... its time to change the rubber and I cant wait to do it!!!! LOL!

Nobody actually has a Camaro yet. We won't be able to tell you. And even if the bolt pattern fits, the offset might not.

The chassis has been designed to take up to 24 inch wheels... it's been stated a few times now. You could fit the concept staged wheel sizes if you wanted - though I have no idea how it'll affect handling etc.

Yes 22" will fit. And the odds are it is going to be the same bolt pattern as the vette.

So if its five bolt I know it will fit as the Magnum is 5 bolt also. So what you are saying 22's will fit right? Now.. i know the offset is 15mm, but what exactly does that mean and how important is that? (Sorry im a newb to this area about cars)

No. The bolt pattern for the Camaro is either going to be 5x120 or 5x4.75(120.65). The offset, following both the trends for F-bodies and Holdens, will be much higher than +15.

Bolt pattern for your Magnum is 5x115. Won't fit.

yes you can get the polished instead of the midnight silver on the rs package. it cost 500-700 dollars though. i dont remember how much more it was but you have to pay for it.

OK so what you are saying is that 22's will fit but I gotta get the right bolt pattern and offset. I will do that from ebay as I got my last set but I wish we had some tech specs so I can pre order and have the wheels ready to go as soon as I take delivery of my new baby!

I have been doing the math and 22" might not be a great idea. On the front you might be able to go 22" with a 245/35/22, but that tire is a little taller than stock and might have clearance issues. One thing to think about is a year from now all sorts of stuff is going to be available for this car, so I am sure every tire/wheel option will be available soon.

LOL!! DO you know even a month is an eternity!!! A year is like never coming round. I like doing things fast and setting the pace rather than following if you know what I mean lol!

Ide say stick with 20s and lower the car. Tires are cheaper and when its a chrome wheel and the car is lowered it makes the wheel look bigger than a 20. I plan on putting air ride on mine and tucking the 20s up in the fender wells. If they would release the specs for the stock wheels then you could order a custom set and have them ready but nobody knows for sure what they are. Oh, and putting rims on somthing isnt "setting the pace" unless its a rap video.
