I dynoed at 363 with the current mods in my signature. He's not too far off.

The converter will eat up a lil on the dyno... also, we are talking about the L99. It will run between 360-370.. seen a few at 373, but those 3-5 hp can all be influenced by a ton of factors.. not to mention you could see 3 more hp simply from a different intake.

You'll get decent gains.

I picked up 118 rwhp with a middle of the road cam and a set of ported heads, plus a dyno tune (over a mail order tune).

So I’m doing full bolt ons with a cam. Going from l99 to ls3 conversion what can I get hp wise?

Best advice I can give you is talk with your tuner. They have likely done a thousand of these installs before and can give you a good estimate. Likely you’re looking between 65-100 rwhp depending on what supporting mods you have/do with it and what cam you go with.

If you keep the stock converter you are doing it wrong. Also, keep VVT. ProStockJohn goes into the 10s with a GPI SS3 VVT cam and 3800 converter...

We generally see gains from 60-100rwhp. It all depends on if you're adding the bolt ons at the same time and how aggressive you would like to go with the cam. An aggressive cam is fine, we do it all the time but you will lose some drivability. We have some pretty aggressive VVT cams that we can set you up with as well.
