Low Budget Quad Exhaust

So I was able to scrounge up an extra rear diffuser from a fellow C5 member, and an extra set of SS 3.5" tips. Have been wanting Quad exhaust for a while now but cant seem to pull myself to spend the big bucks on a custom made diffuser that isnt guaranteed to not crack. SO, took out the ole Dremel tool and decided to give it a go. Im pretty happy with the results. The attached photo is one I took last night with the extra set of tips just placed on jack stands so I could get an idea of how its going to look. Headed to the muffler shop this morning to get everything welded on.

That looks great. How much did you end up spending on the extra diffuser?

So far I have not seen a dual tip setup on a Camaro that I like.... till now. Be interested to see better pictures but that looks good. Great job.

Same thing I was worried about, spending that money and it cracking.

That looks good. You inspired me now, gonna order a set of tips off eBay this weekend.

First it looks good, But if your going to do it that way, IMO cut the other side to match the look.

thanks for all the compliments everyone, heading to the muffler shop here in about 10 minutes, as soon as we get done down there I will post some pics. I do want everyone to know though that when I mentioned about how I was worried about the plastic cracking on diffusers that were bonded/ plastic welded, I was not referring to any work that '2SSRS' has done on his custom diffusers. Was referring to a local shop here in a town that couldnt guarantee the durability of their work, so i decided against it and to cut it up myself.
Anywho, thanks again for the compliments and if ya like whatcha see, and you want to tackle it yourself, just let me know and I will help as much as I can!

Really nice of you to clarify about 2SSRS. Ive seen photos of his diffusers and they look great to be honest. Really top quality.
