Depending on how long it waits for a truck to the dealer, that is possible. I will go check it out, but can't pick it up until the weekend.

You're not alone... three of our cars have been 4300/4B00 in Charlotte since 11/16-11/18.

Sort of good to hear I'm not alone. It's interesting how some cars are direct ship and others age in lots for a while. If it existed, I'd do a factory delivery at this point.

I think it all comes down to having enough cars to fill a truck going to the same region...I assume this at least lol.

It's complicated and I haven't figured it out. The store I work for had 6 orders... mine, a sold order, was placed first by about 2 weeks. The remaining 5 were just unsold retail units. Those 5 got built first, then mine a week later. However, 2 of the 5 unsold have shipped, the other 3 are sitting, and my sold order shipped after the first 2, so it has nothing to do with production timing. I ended up switching to an unsold order as it was the same spec as mine, and is set to arrive tomorrow or Saturday. My actual car won't be here till next week.

You work for a dealer network right? Do you know if the $1000 private offers pop up anymore?

First Post. I am interested in an SS 1LE. Are there any forum dealers that you guys work with? I bought my 09 C6 from a vendor on the Corvette Forum and got a GREAT deal. Anything like that here? (I also get a GM employee discount from my father in law)

The all powerful Becky from Rogers Chevy in Michigan is the go to around here! She will hook you up, I know she has already sold a few 1LEs to people form various states.

Just pop over to the Orders/Pricing sub and you will find her contact info!

The wait between build and shipment became intolerable to me.

After 23 days sitting in the rail yard, I cancelled my original order and found a local 1LE.

Same color and options. Was in my garage 20 hours later.

I am one of the ones going through Becky. She has made it a really fun and stress free (minus the wait) experience. Do recommend. Price came in under supplier pricing.

This absolutely makes no sense. Mine shipped a few days ago headed to Milpitas, built 12/1. Would think a company like Chevrolet would have a robust system surrounding something like this.

Crazy right? Seems like the Milpitas facility is pretty efficient though, the longest one of our cars has sat there has been 2 days. My car's train arrived there last night, so I've got my fingers crossed for delivery in the morning!
