Seeing the 5th gen @ LA '08 for the first time...

To say pics don't do the car justice is a bit of an understatement. I was blown away with what I saw today seeing the car for the first time up close and personal. I bumped into Blackzbandit at the show as well and we chatted for a while. Cool guy who knows his stuff about the Camaro and GM. Enjoy the pics...more to come later...

I liked the volt concept and could live with the new and improved volt but that interior is hideous...someone here tell me thats just preproduction.

I really don't like the looks of the volt. Why can't any of these hybrids look normal... How hard is it to make a car look cool and save gas at the same time???

Actually....the look of the Volt is growing on me. I LOVED the original look of the Volt...very cool. And then, they had to go and redesign it.... I know...due to aerodynamics and all. But, it grew on me and I think it looks pretty good.

Thanks for sharing the pix with us!

Toyota camary hybrid is a pretty standard looking hybrid. mid sized sedan with mid-high MPG...

Who in the hell stole the gas pedal? It's not like someone is going to jump in the car and drive it off the display.

Those are the 21" LPO wheels (or at least similar). Those are dealer installed and come in polished and a black painted, but not sure if they are exactly the same as the ones on the black SEMA car.

Based on the headlights and tails...I'll say polished as this is not an RS car based on a few things.

Anyone else know?

For SS, I would say painted sterling silver.
