Good looking piece of equipment!

Remember our V6's have centering springs that slows the install a bit..
You can't just yank the old shifter out like they do in the video.

Also, I didn't re-use the springs, just left'em out without adverse effect IMHO.

Gaaaah why does grown up life suck so much sometimes. Not gonna be able to get to it. Found the install video. Obviously going to have to let the car sit and cool down. Did not realize I had to get under this thing LOL. What a noob. Sometime next week then. I like that there's the option of leaving your stock gear shifter lever and knob in tact. Not that that's what I'M going to do but still. They prolly are all that way. Noob strikes again.

I installed mine today at work. It was going easy until the part where I had to drop it down. Those damn springs slowed the install to a crawl. My buddy had a hell of a time releasing them. I ended up removing them and tossing them. I would hate to do this job without a lift.

What an improvement, though. WOW!! So much crisper and accurate. The stock shifter was way too stiff and vague.

Anyone know where I can get the v6 white shift know shown in the OP pic in the Hurst bag?

Hurst Shifter is a major improvement, especially for the cost.

We have the 3.6L Shift Pattern ball, give us a call! 1(888)257-1422

We will be getting this along with other Shift Knob alternatives up soon!

Congrates sixjax I love mine and it give's a nice touch to the interior of the car with the white ball and chrome handle if yo go that route. Also it a amazing product that make's your car feel a lot better over stock!

install is easy just take of the spring's inside holding the shifter and the part will come off easy and i left mine out also and have been fine for like 3 month's now.
