Yeah, I've been meaning to pop up a thread about that.

It looks like its going to a HUGE turnout...and there is talk about everyone just doing a lap around 285....but personally I think thats kinda boring.

Depending on the speed around 285 lol is it on a Sunday? I might be able to make that of course I'll be in my truck :(

Considering selling my 2010 LS3 and getting a 1LE or ZL1. I found a 2013 black 2SS/RS 1LE in Texas for $35,800 and a few ZL1s in the $44k range. Would you make the step up to the ZL1 and bite the bullet or take the 1LE for $10k less?

Tough decision without actually seeing the cars offered at those prices.
Assuming each is suitable (good tires, no issues) ZL1 would be my first choice. But 1LE is a fine substitute for the price difference. I would certainly buy another one.

btw - Both models come with high maintenance Summer tires that fail at temps below 20F. I have seen it drop below 0F here a couple of times.

Anyone in town have a throttle body that can be used for a core? I dont know the variations, but it would be for an LS3.

Good advice, but actually looking for a core to save shipping charges and travel time from New Zealand to USA.
