High Flow Cats Question

I have the mufflers deleted and I LOVE the sound. I am considering making it just a little louder but also would love some more power. So I am considering high flow cats. I have direct access to a shop so I can bolt the oem cats back in whenever I need to go to the dealer.
My question is this, will my exhaust be obnoxiously loud with this setup? I do not have much drone at all now, will it increase the drone?
Thanks for your help

Def louder.

Also consider that most Hi Flows are weld on so you might not be able to "switch back" quite as easily.

Now...if we could just get you set up with some LTs....we'd be really LOUD!!!!

Solo Performance high flow cats will bolt right into stock location and you can always switch back if you want. They won't throw a cel code either! Definatly LOUDER and about 20 hp increase, according to Solo. I felt the improvement but didn't dyno! I ended up adding a set of free flow resonators to quiet it down. Now it's louder than the cat back alone but a little quieter than with the high flows!

Thanks for your input guys! And I would love a set of LT's but with cost, and they aren't as easy to replace with oem if i ever need warranty work, they don't seem like the most sensible mod at this point in time. And ssmike, I was only considering Solo high flow cats basically from all of you're posts that I've seen.

Just to add another question about the solo cats, will you be able to add LT headers to them at a later date. Maybe some Kooks.

No. Any LT's will need different cats because the headers are longer and won't mate up to stock locationu.

allot of people get high flow cats then maybe later will had LTs... i got high flow cats because i just got a corsa exhaust and didn't wanna spend another grand on LTs. so i spent like 400 on some JBA cats and love them.. but i now am making the money back, so i will be able to add LTs next year

Let us know if you decide to go through w/ this. I've been debating the exact same setup. You could always try it out first and, if it's too loud, you can always add a muffler(s) later. I know of an excellent exhaust shop in Margate that can do just about anything you want, compete w/ mandrel-bent pipe done right there in the shop.

Thanks for the info guys! I am gonna take the time to make the decision. Holidays are coming, also considering going to Halloween Horror nights. Money is going to be a little tight.
