Back on topic: I received the can and breather today, nice stuff. Locating a place to mount it. On the front fits best. will post pics mounted and plumbed when done. I have to get some hose to finish. there is no way to overpressurize the system as the oil breather and can have a great bypass to let out pressure. there is a quality one way boost valve in the can too. more later

some pics of the install, will drive and see how it performs... the breather and the can have a one way valve venting pressure, no unmetered air entering system...

Very cool. Does this breather work with the existing CC in the IPF kit.

Yes it will , it vents only, no fresh coming in. My system uses the IPF can as a inlet can only, fresh air enters through that can and will catch moisture coming in or out freeley, the new can is all about the intake, it draws from the intake manifold, there is a check valve to prevent backflow and pulls air through the motor. there is no way to pressurize the engine and it now breathes.....

OK, I'm confused. Are we thinking the IPF system alone is less than adequate?

What are the potential benefits of additional cans?

I can never leave anything alone, the IPF system does a great job venting, but offers no real fresh air circulation, that's why I changed mine up. I will say that some of my idle issues and occasional stalling have been reduced because of this setup. It feels "smoother" overall. Perhaps the added air entering the intake under vacuum helps the engine idle better. All the incoming air is metered and there is no way to overpressurize the system.

For whatever reason, it would help me if I could see the layout scribbled on the back of a napkin to follow what and where everything is.
