Goodies from ADM!

Oh yeah, does this look used? No way!

Wow! I feel sorry for those who missed out...

But, that means I'll be selling my pretty new stuff too!

My Vararam No Tune, ATI UD Pulley, 3.91 gears -- (Anyone in DFW with low mile 3:45 wanna swap and some $$ (For mine)? Andy will swap them for us! ;o) very soon it looks like...

Woot! Can't wait! But first, the ZL1 brakes...

Woot! Now I have the Stock Harmonic Balancer (new from Huffines for $66) and 3.45 gears (from GTKiller thanks a million!) with only 8500 miles on them out of a 2SS!

SC install is getting closer!

I just finished installing the Front and Rear ZL1 brakes -- WOW do those work.

Bleeding the fronts is a bit** without pressure -- mine would have worked but needed too much pressure so -- helper @ hand

You have to bleed them SLOWLY and I do mean SLOWLY so they bleed out the air. Took a while but works great!

here are some shots of the progress:

Can't Protected it enough ;o):

New ZL1 Shield (Left Front):

ZL1 Front Rotor:

Installed with the GOOD lines (Thank Tyler (JDP)!

Rears installed:

Rotors (same shield):

Caliper:

Side Shots:

Wheel on:

Love'n these!

No sense in a brake DYI -- there's already a very good one on the forum! Did bedding of the brakes -- did about 20 30 mph-0 stops per instructions with the kit -- Then took it out and did some 50-0 and 40-0. Have to cool off the brakes after each bed-in attempt (cool twice as long as you braked).

Next, I'll be doing the MyLink upgrade next week...

THEN during the holiday break, the Heads, Cam and LSA SuperCharger -- not sure how long that will take as I tend to REALLY take my time and 'bag-n-tag' things along with a TON of pictures!

Thanks! 7 that was 7 pints of Motul to bleed the Fronts. Found a local supplier and had to get 4 more. Those fronts took forever to bleed all the air out. Slow and steady (and my daughters boyfriend) got it done. Damn do they work!

7 pints?? wow! Usually only takes about 2 and a half. Must have been a thorough bleed!

Best regards,

Tyler

It was a full flush. These fronts would show the smallest air bubbles. So until I saw 0 air, we just kept going until it was all fluid. Backs took 10 minutes total. Really quick to do them...

Visited ADM and talked to Andy and Rick -- got a few more clarifications. Pretty much reviewed everything -- got a couple of small items ordered and should be here tomorrow and next week.

This kit is gonna rock. So much already there...

Most of the items are really small things so once I have in hand, I'll get started!

Heads and Cam from GPI are in process so I should have that all around the same time.

I did order a CAI from Andy as I can be confident it will work and fit the way it needs to...
