#13 at Hendrick Chevrolet in Cary, NC
Was messing with the build your own feature on the Chevrolet website and it said there was one matching ZL1 in my area. Only option it has is the sunroof. SIM with standard insert and standard black rims. Not sure if it's actually available but it wouldn't hurt to check if anybody was looking for a low VIN.

Weird. Usually when you can get a window sticker a car is available. It does not show up from Hendrick's site. I have an allocation but would rather have a car. If I find the right one, I'm ditching my order. The season will be at least half gone at this pace.

If it's not already sold, EXPECT to see a mark up of at least 10k. They are dirty. I will never do business with them. tried to buy a 12 45th from them and tried ripping me off on my trade in. These guys didn't know what a Duramax sounded like and said the truck had a whine. Heaven forbid it be the turbo. Then they tried telling me it was a 6.0 and offered me blue book for one and insisted I was wrong about the price.
The customer is always wrong there. |

Spoke with them a few weeks ago, they did have a couple of allocations but they were already sold. They are a good dealership to deal with just watch the final pricing when you go into the sales office to sign the paperwork

Hendrick is notorious for low balling trades. They are usually fair once you beat them to death on the pricing, but their used car evaluation sucks.
If you really want to see slime, go to Town and Country Ford. They are the worst dealer I have ever experienced. No, I did not buy a Ford.

All that doesn't even mention I laid the cards out on the table and said "This will get me in the car." And they didn't match that, and then said well we can get you in a red convertible for under your max payment. I looked at them and said. No red. I payed 28k for a 1500 truck and settled on the color and didn't like it. How do you think I'd feel if I payed 40K+ on a car I really want and didn't get the color I wanted? Spent 3 hrs there. walked out the door at 11 pm. reverified my blue book value fair, trade in and private party. which was still way above what they offered. Worst dealer experience I've had in a while. I've even tried dealing with Deacon Jones in Smithfield. I don't think that was as bad. And they are horrible about mark-ups. I will have to say maybe it's their customers that is why they treat people this way. Maybe their customers are just plain stupid about what they drive, and they can get away with low balling and selecting the wrong options on trade in values. And then maybe their customers are push overs when it comes to their limits. I tell you I have a $500 payment limit I'm not going to take a payment of $513. Some people have a cushion they aren't willing to break into. oh well off my soap box. All I have to say is thank god for CCOG, Craig Doubt is the MAN! |
