I agree to this as well.

Not big on law suits but in this case it's justified. Make them buy you a ZL1 with extra money to trade it in on a convertible when they come out.

Glad you and your daughter are ok. At the end of the day that's all that matters.

Glad everyone is okay. Cars can be replaced. Get yourself and your daughter checked out again. The effects of shock can last a while, then all the aches and bumps start to get noticed.

Florida can't seem to figure this out yet. The latest idea was a $30 fine if you were doing something else wrong at the same time! WTF! I guess the phone companies are making the rules here. People lose their lives every day, and we want to put a $30 fine on the root cause of many of these accidents?

Luckily, it is not a life and death issue.

I think texting, period, is stupid.

Not only is it endangering the lives of others on the road, but it's compromising today's social integrity. People hardly talk anymore, they just f*cking text all the time and it looks stupid. That's why they call most kids born in the 90's or later the "Silent Generation."

The day I try to woo a girl I'm interested in via text is the day I'll stab myself in the gut and turn the blade. :\ I've seen couples on dates and friends hanging out and they were not even talking to each other - they were all just on their phones. I still use a Samsung flip phone that is around 7 years old and I still use it to CALL and TALK to people a lot of the time and I get SO much flack for it. "You need to get an IPhone/Android - you need to get an iPad" or whatever the f*ck they are. I tell them, "I didn't get an iPhone or an iPad because I was too busy getting a Camaro SS."

It's almost as though evolution won't really see the point in having vocal chords anymore and will sort of devolve them out of our throats through natural selection in a couple hundred years.

3 points on your license if caught texting/driving in NY. Doesn't prevent most of the idiots from doing it though. Maybe a 3 pound sledge to the hand would work.

Make that a 20 lb. sledge and tell them to use their left hand to text from now on.

Actually, it works pretty well for an old deaf guy. I can read even if I can't hear you. I just can't get the hang of typing with my thumbs...
