That really sucks man, glad you and your daughter are ok. Its so easy to text and drive and think you'll be fine, but at the end of the day its such a bad idea!

Im so glad you guys are ok and so sorry for the loss of your beloved car :( I would find a good lawyer and start a lawsuit against this guy. Texting and driving should be against the law, any cell phone use should be. Ive been in too many close calls with cell phone talkers not paying attention. Good luck to you.

So Glad you're ok, even though the convertible is not.
She did as she was supposed to and saved your lives.
Please post pictures of the ZL-1 convertible as soon as possible.

Get under the close care of a Dr. to monitor for brain damage. A year after a wreck my son is still having problems due to a brain injury that only had a minor scalp laceration. The T-Bone caused internal bleeding from whiplash...... SUE EM, and SUE em hard.

I'm very glad everybody is ok...BUT, this peeps is the prime example of why you DON"T hide your car in the garage like it was going to melt. Get out and enjoy life, it is too precious to spend in fear of a rain drop might fall on me! For crying out loud, live life it's the only one you get!!!

What the "texting generation" has become?

I was reading comments of an OBITUARY on a dedication website. People paying their respects. One went like this (as best as I can remember):

"U r gonna b miss'd. Luv n tears 2 U. Pray'rs to fam".

(No doubt, sent by tapatalk)

I agree, I don't usually agree with it either. But in this case, his ass should be sued. People who text and drive IMO are just as bad if not worse then drunk drivers. They are all dangerous to the people around them.

OP, Glad to hear you and your daughter are alright

My daughter's first day back at school after we got hit.
On the way there, a woman in a Escalade flew by us on the right, putting on makeup in the mirror with one hand and a phone in the other.
Don't know how she was steering the 5000lb projectile.
People, how do we stop this madness?
Please be carefull out there........
