I want to buy an MRT v1.0 or 2.0 but I have some questions.

Hi I am new to this forum and I want to buy an MRT exhaust system for my Camaro but I have some questions.

1) I have been reading around about how the MRT Exhaust Systems have a "unbearable droning" at highway speeds. How unbearable is this with windows down and up?
2) I have read on this forum that using a MagnaFlow Resonated X Pipe will reduce rasp and droning for the MRT 2.0 but have not seen anyone talk about the MRT 1.0 with the X Pipe, does it also apply in this case?
3) If able to, will the MRT 1.0 with the X Pipe be like the 2.0 with the X Pipe except louder because the X Pipe reduces droning. And how much droning does it reduce, is it a noticeable drone reducing from the 1. 0 and the 2.0 or will they sound close to the same as each other?
4) Does adding an MRT v1.0/2.0 and a Resonated X Pipe alone or separate void any warranties?
5) How much would it cost to get both the MRT and the X Pipe or separately installed professionally?

I would really appreciate any answer(s) to these questions.

mmm not so much. mrt 1 is too raspy for me, and not just loud, but a little cheap sounding.

I have MRT v.2. No rasp. Drone is not bad at all.. and I don't even have the Magnaflow res x pipe yet. Haven't heard any need for it and I've had my MRT v.2 a year now.

Cost me $140 to have my old exhaust cut off and the MRT welded on.

I chose the V1 because in my opinion it sounded Deeper and louder... But if you get the res x pipe and the v1 installed it will quiet it down some but not as much as the v2 because at idle the v2 isn't as noticeable as the V1....doesn't void warranty only the axle back part of the exhaust you're cutting off and the H-pipe you're replacing with the res x-pipe.

How much droning are you getting from the the v1 at Highway Speeds and Cruising Speeds? Does it bother you at all? Would you recommend an magnaflow resonated X Pipe?

1 is way too lound . . 2 is just right. Install the x pipe and there is zero drone. The initial start up even for the 2 wakes up neighbors 3 houses down, cant imagine the 1.

It seems as tho you have the v2 and you like it. But I was wondering if the X Pipe would make the v1 just like the v2, since the v1 is louder at idle and cruising, it would be just like the v2 but louder. This is just what I'm wondering.

You paid $140?! Wow, I only paid $60 + a tip to have my stock mufflers cut off and have the MRTs welded on. I gave him a $20 tip because he did such a great job and insisted on making sure everything was perfectly lined up and centered.

And to the OP, as for what exhaust you should choose, I'd say the v1 but I'm a bit biased . Here's a vid of my v1s, no other mods other than the exhaust.
