In the Rolex series a Mazda RX8 took first place after one of the Camaro and a Porsche went to the garage for transmission replacement after leading for most of the race until the 18th hour. In the Continental Tire Challenge a BMW took the win. The full results can be view at Grand-am.com or just google Grand American racing series.

As per SMPDude from this thread:
http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...highlight=gt.r

All body panels on these car are the same a factory. We even use the factory front and rear poly bumper covers. They do not run the LS3 Combo. They are running the LS6 engines with the X-trac gearbox (Similar to the Corvettes). The GTO Chassis's are a little different than the GTO chassis's. The GTO's were a little shorter.
The reason for reusing the GXP.R chassis was not so much a cost issue as much as already having the bugs worked out of this chassis design and no need to replace a chassis that has and does work as good as these. Plus the wheels base and width are the same from the GXP.R and the Camaro.

The GS cars in the Former Koni Series are Bone Stock cars except for the Brake upgrades, shocks, springs, Roll cage, sway bars and exhaust (no Cats allowed). They run Bone Stock suspension and Drive trains. We will be Running the #6 Sunoco Camaro and the #9 Camaro in that series as well.

I could be mistaken but I think every car in that series has to run the same wheel size. It looks so out of place on the Camaro because it was designed for 18 thru 22 inch production wheels.
