Anyone know much about the BMW Z3 M Coupe? It looks like a Z3 station wagon.... Much faster than a V6 Camaro? Could the stock SS take it?

SS all the way. I beleive that model recieved a detuned version of the E46 M3 engine. Coming from an E46 M3, the SS has the upper hand.

Dude are you serious another BMW question WTF!!! A BMW Z3 should compete with a Honda civic Coupe SI !!! Camaros are in different class! My wife drives a Suburban and would run over a Z3!!!

The one with the S54 E46 M3 detuned motor could be a handfull against a stock SS but still not faster. The 2000 model lapped the Nurburgring only 2 seconds slower than the SS. What year was you thinking of. The earlier years are a joke.

And oh, M3s aren't that fast, I drove one and raced a few sometimes they beat me sometimes me them. M5s and M6s are faster than stock SS. Don't forget our SS have a bunch of stupid issues that makes them slower, but once the kinks are taken care of things change.

In order for you wife's suburban to run over a Z3 M coupe it would have to be able to keep up with it first.

Trust me I was surprised as you were and he was definitely on it because at the next light he looked pissed as hell and asked if I had the V8. Then he put about 2 bus lengths on me from a dig.

They have no top end at all. After witnessing it firsthand all my money would be on a manual V6 from a 80+ roll, and Id make money.
