Well, Drone is very significant at highway speeds. but still that is subjective to your opinion at the end. To me, it is pretty bad but I still rather put up with it because any other time, sounds great for a V6. Cost is a option correct? well you have to consider that Cherry bomb is not stainless steel so if you car is a DD and you will have to drive it thru winters and salt in the road, it probably will rust. just to keep in mind. How fast? idk.. but my idea was even if it rust, you still can buy another cherry bomb catback and be paying the same as other systems.

I went with Solo CAT Back. It's got a deep throaty sound. I listened to tons of exhausts on the exhaust sticky and on YouTube...I was very close to going MRTv2, but Solo ended up on my car. I love it. It's pretty tame under low rpm's and at cruising speeds, but really wakes up at WOT. When I put the CAI on it kicked up a notch in volume.
Good luck and get what makes you happy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It depends on what you want in terms of normal daily driving sound versus hard accelleration, and just how loud you want it on to be. Mine is not super loud and not at all loud at cruise, but sounds great when you start it up or when you really get on it. Here is a professionally done video clip of mine. Listen with headphones. There is not a really hard accelleration included but you get the idea. It sounds much better in person. I always say it went from singing tenor to base. Good luck deciding.

Keep in mind the 6 is NOT going to sound like an 8. I had flow masters on my 6 and was deeper than most others in my local club, but it still was not close to an 8.

You might want to PM Apex Chase. He is really good at listening to what you tell him you are looking for in your exhaust and pairing you up with the right one at a good price.

I don't have it yet but I just ordered a doug thorley cat back exhaust and if it sounds as good as the few v6 vids I found then I'm going to be quite happy. From what I can tell it is relatively quiet when you are cruising and doesn't drone but it sounds mean when you open it up and for 499 at southwestspeed.net it is very reasonably priced.
