Installed Magnaflow 16580 (video and pics)

Hey yo,

Me and two buddies installed the Magnaflow 16580 Comp Catback yesterday after it arrived VERY QUICKLY from JDP Motorsports, an awesome vendor on this site.

The installation couldn't have been easier. Minus the pain-in-the-ass, one-piece stock exhaust, the Magnaflow went on easily, aligned well, and didn't require much tweaking to get straight tips, pipes, etc.

The tone is great. Sounds excellent on take off, and cruises very mildly. I have an LS3 M6 and there is NO drone cruising on the highway in 5th or 6th gear at any RPM between 1000 and 2000. Not sure what generated all the "drone" scare on this site, but there is none of that here.

Let me know if you have any questions. Enjoy the vid and pics.

Video (Best watched in HQ)

The muffler delete with a resonated X-pipe is a great setup IMO. Magnaflow or SOLO...either one.

Hard to beat the JDP Magnaflow price though.

Yes it does. You reuse the stock clamps in the front, but it comes with the clamps for the rest of the piping. Very simple install.
