Where is battery on V6

I read somewhere on the forum that its in the trunk? Is this true on the V6?

The plus side is there is lot of room under the hood making MX easier.

and not only is it in the trunk, its BELOW the spare tire! I KNEW it was in the trunk, but WHERE!!! LOL I had to look for mine, when I went to look at one the very first time and didn't see it in the engine bay I knew it was in the trunk, but I couldn't see it, and teh saleman didn't know either, I knew right then I wan't buying a car from him.

ok...what happens when you need a jump?

I've went through 2 batteries in my current Camaro in the last 8 years, seems like it's easier to access it at the front end...not the rear end.

Any thoughts on this?
