VMAX Throttle Body
Just received my throttle body from Apex. Must say that I'm not overly impressed with the quality of the piece from VMAX.

The VMAX ported throttle bodies are stock GM throttle bodies that have had a porting service performed. The throttle body itself is a GM part. That spot is where the molten aluminum is poured into the cast when it is manufactured. Some are a little cleaner than others but they all have some sort of marking in that spot.

Yes, that is normal. Here is a picture of the first one I grabbed off the shelf. This one has a much cleaner mark but you can see the cracks.
