Is the satin nickel fuel door tacky?

So I saw a picture of the locking chrome fuel door on a SIM and thought it looked kind of cool so I called my dealer and told him to add it to my car when it comes. But I think the locking one is different from the one in the chevy thing. I thinkthe default one is the "satin nickel" one. Whats your thoughts on it? would it look stupid? should I cancel i or have it added? I'm getting the SIM and I just havent really seen any pics with this nickel one on. Didnt the concept have the fancy fuel doorand did anyone else here get the fuel door added?

I think it would look good on SIM. I considered it when I ordered my IOM but decided it wouldn't look good to me on the orange.

Don't think it looks tacky at all. You get used to it in about 5 minutes. I am considering upgrading to the chrome locking fuel door this summer. My car is IOM.

I originally wanted it but I changed my mind. It looks cleaner without it imo.

Does anyone have a picture of this fuel door on a CGM or Black 'maro? I've been debating on adding this as well.

If you like the fuel door then put it on. I do not worry about what everyone else thinks. Its your car and your money.

Personally, I kind of like the Locking one that's available at Chevymall.com.

Closest (even though on the rear quarter side) to the look of the Original one on the concept cars. (At least that's my take on it.)
