I figured that.

What do you guys think the hp limit will be on the zl1 with pump gas? Or is that a wait a see thing?

I hope you are talking about a bull because 8 seconds with anything other than a car or a bull is embarrassing no matter what the circumstances are

Graham.
Exactly. We used C16 on my car so knock wasnt an issue. Lol car plateaued
@ 24*. Threw 26* at it and didnt make any more power. Gotta love race gas.

130 trap speed is impressive, but i think most people won't be running race fuel like that. I would be more curious on what it makes on pump 93. I would assume it would be a good 125 or so

Yikes those are 10K in mods . I guess if I can squeeze the price of the ZL1 in my budget, I will just have to duck my head at the stoplight if a Shelby pulls up :(. Enough jokes, I would pay 5k extra for this pkg from the factory

Crowley... you are a real "level headed" guy who plays it fair on both sides of the street! I saw your posts on the "other" forum. Nice to see "fair and balanced".... FWIW. I don't give a flip if you do use a 1999 Samsung flip phone in a belt holster! You have to admit that this test will get those heads turned eh?

Throw 4.10's in it and get that sixty where it should be and with that MPH it will be deep deep into the tens. Nice work LPE!

isn't the LSA motor basicaly the same engine in the CTSv? If so why all the amazement at HP increase with pully change?

You know.....I think you were right in the other thread. I think Hennessy purposely ran a slow time so They could do a tune and a pulley and run 11.20-11.30@ around 125-126mph with out racegas and a modified intake. That or they just can't drive. I guarantee this car traps around 120-122 stock. I think Hennessy did that crap on purpose.

No reason to put 4.10s in it. By my math with the current setup they can run about 140-145 before they would need to get into 5th. Running the 4.10s would force them into 5th and drop the rpm down around 5000 rpm.

I think the 3.73s with the 28 inch almost 29 inch tall tire is about perfect for that car. It makes enough low to mid range torque to pull mid 1.5 60's if not better.

Ha Ha... no they didn't... it is what it is... for now... there will be plenty of baselines that's probably why LPE didn't need one.
