Problems with ITSX tuner! - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Just got my itsx tuner in and installed the app on my iphone and paired the device in my car, it shows connected but wont upload the stock file, keeps saying unable to read or verify ecu id, please try again. I reset the device, once again paired and connected them tried again and nothing, not working and this is frustrating me! Anyone else have this problem?

Do you have a tune from someone else? Possible the computer is locked?

I am having the same issue with mine. I have been on the phone with Ted at JRE and he hooked me up with a tech at SCT. They have sent this problem to their engineering dept and tell me they hope to have it resolved in 2 to 4 weeks. :(

This blows! I didn't spend $469 to have to wait 2-4 weeks cause this product is having problems.

I appologize this is kind of normal, the after market has to catch up to the newest cars on the street.

Yours being a very new 2013 where the 2012s are working flawless.

I'm having the same problem.... Just got mine in today and it keeps telling me it can't read it. I'm going to try again tomorrow....

I e-mailed the tech at SCT a few days ago and he replied that he still had no information for me as to when a fix will be available. As I have a 2010 SS I don't see why this should be an issue? I'm getting very frustrated with this

SCT will have new firmware this week for the iTSX to correct the Random communication problems.

The Apple IOS6 updated has compounded the problem.

Yep ted is right. IOS6 doesn't work properly with the app. I used my Android tablet and it worked flawlessly. Ted I should be sending you my stock file shortly.

Well I really hope so, this is depressing me! Its downloaded two updates last week but nothing yet so far this week. Guess Ill keep waiting. Really wanna get this pulley on and tuned with my cai.

Did you try disconnecting the battery for 2min and then trying it? VERY common with ALL sct devices

this sucks i just bought mine last week i hope i dont have this problem. Jshadow, so we can use either an iphone or a android phone with the same sct itsx cause i have a iphone and a droid x

No, I havent tried disconnecting the battery at all, they didnt even mention to me to try that. They took my vin # and told me they were working on it and had no guaranteed time that they would have it fixed.

So i used my tablet with android to download the TSX application and tryed it on that. It seemed to work fine at first. I am able to get the guages the work and see basic info on the car but once i try to upload Teds tune file to the car I keep getting a timed out message! It's really frustrating. Called tech support and they pretty much had no clue whats going on. I'm just waiting on the firmware update that's "supposed" to be released later this week. It's pretty annoying. I'm ready to just return this and trade for the regular cable.
