Here is the video from the Trans-Am race at Sebring! Started first and led flag to flag.

OH EM GEE I want my car to sound JUST LIKE THAT!!! God that sounds magnificent!! Damn fine driving man. Nice job staying out of the drama. And THANK YOU for NOT putting the obligatory heavy metal soundtrack which interferes with hearing the car and the race. Wow that was great!

Looked like the car was handling really well. What kinds of speeds were you hitting out there?

Thanks Doc The car actually had a good amount of understeer I had to deal with. But overall the car wasn't bad. Down the back straight before turn 17 we were hitting 150 mph and probably close to that before the hairpin.

Well now I'm even more impressed with your driving skills. I hate understeer with a passion. While watching the video I was thinking you needed more power but now that you've said it had a good amount of understeer that explains how careful you were when accelerating out of the corners. Do you have the car set up that way on purpose?

Well we weren't able to test before Sebring so we did go with a safe setup. I liked the understeer so it handled the bumps on and the high speed corners. And just looked at the data again and we were actually hitting around 155+ down the backstraight into 17.

You didn't even get a chance to test your setup on the track and you WON?? Man, I can't wait to see what you'll be able to do once you get things dialed in.

Thanks for posting all this. Being able to watch these videos is not only a blast but very informative on driving style. When's your next race?

Well it is my home track so that helped me out a little bit but no we didn't have time to dial in the setup. It was our first time with the new Trans-Am wing that actually gives us a lot of downforce in the back and the new Hoosier tires instead of Goodyear. So it was a big learning curve.

Our next race is actually at Mosport May 19 then Lime Rock May 25th

I only watched the first video but that was a nice battle you had with the #99 Camaro, good racing.

haha we just run VP racing fuel. Mosport is a super fast track. The second video I have a good battle with Bob Stretch but made a pass going into the Bus Stop and held him off to win. I just got back from my win at Road America and will be working on making a video from the race as soon as I have time!

Great videos. You're better on the brakes and better in the corners than he is but he drives a "wide" car when you're close to make it nearly impossible to pass him. Nice job slipstreaming and passing him near the end of the second video.

I'm really enjoying these videos; thanks for posting them!
