Anyone Use Rear Upper Quarter Ports?

Anyone install these on their Z?

http://www.phastekperformance.com/20...s-33-4-139.htm

Just curious how they look and work. I believe they are meant to look like the ports on the C7's.

Good luck

No thanks, I won't cut up my ZL1 for that! The front brakes need the cool air more than the rears. To my eyes it takes away from the lines of the car. Yes I agree it's meant to replicate the Corvette, but I don't own a Corvette.

Haha!

I couldn't stomach cutting into my car for these either. I was just curious if anyone had installed them and if they actually turned out well or not.

I saw someone over in the Cosmetics board with these installed. They didn't look bad. I wouldn't do it personally.

I just don't see how there would be a lot of air flow into there from the top of the car. I can see the mod that cuts out the gill in the rear quarter working because it sticks out in the air flow, but not on the top of the fender... And was mentioned previously, you need a lot more air in the front than the back. If it made a difference in lap times I would do it, but it looks like more show than function to me.

I've seen it done. To be honest it didn't look bad to me. It takes a lot of bravery to cut up one's fender just for that feature.

Could anyone point to pics or links, other than the Phastek site?
I would like to see more shots in real life. I like the idea in theory.
