Which exhaust?

I've been reading all of the other threads about exhausts but still unsure of which exhaust to get. I'm looking for an exhaust that has a deep sound when cruising and pops when switching gears but loud when revved. Which out of these would be the best?

- Loudmouth axle-back 1
- Loudmouth axle-back 2
- MRT axle-back V1
- MRT axle-back V2
- Magnaflow axle-back
- Magnaflow cat-back

If you guys have any other suggestions feel free to throw them at me.

I went with the Magnaflow axle-back and the sound is perfect. Good rumble on acceleration, quiet while cruising (somewhat) and no drone.

Ark N-2 Cat-Back no drone pops on revs and is deep but refined on crusing speeds.

The V6 typically has terrible rasp with most axle backs. You'll more than likely install an x pipe to get rid of this. Do a search you will find most installing this. To save money just install a cat back system that has an x pipe.
I have the solo Mach x which has tuning pipes to tune out any nasty sounds.

Not totally true.......The MRT 2.0 sounds great by itself.

The resaon many went to an X pipe is to take care of the RASP after installing long tube headers. That is what happened with mine at least, and mnay others I followed up with thruout the years.

There is also a specially designed H-pipe by American Racing Headers that I have. It gives good sound & similar results to that of an X-pipe set-up.

Our best selers for the V6 are the MRT and Magnaflow systems. I personally really like the MRT V2 and Magnaflow the best. The MRT V1 is a little over the top for me.

Best regards,

Custom Exhaust: cut the whole thing off after the cats. replace the stock resonators and hpipe with a resonated xpipe from magnaflow and then straight pipe it the rest of the way. You'll thank me later
