Exactly!! We're going out of town again for Thanksgiving and if there is only one Challenger left then that would mean that like around 10% of the people in that town now drive Challengers.

Well that would explain why they are still sitting on the lot. You need to go take logic 101.

ABM is constrained and being discontinued, so you may want to look at other color options.

Hmm, here's my oppinion...If you're comparing the V6 Camaro to the GT Mustang id take the Mustang because its a better deal, if you're comparing the V8s to each other id take the Camaro, yeah the whole idea of the car is to go fast but thats starting to lose its luster, most of these cars are becoming muscle/luxury cars now (which annoys me but whatever) The Mustang is a nice car and id consider buying it but with the Camaro on the table as well id have to take the Camaro over it...or have you looked into the R/T Challenger? You said you were looking for a fast fun car thats not too insanely out-doggin everyone, i hear the R/T Challenger is one of the best cars to romp through the gears haha

Just bought a Camaro SS2 (supplier). And guess what? I still say the Mustang GT is better bang for your buck, when I was offered one at $29,600 and 0% financing. But I didn't want one, plain and simple. Facts are facts, convenient or inconvenient.
Thanks guys! Been very helpful in my decision since I started here in March. |

True, the mustang is a much better bang for your buck, and in some aspects the best of the 3, but the camaro is by far the fastest, and although this is just my opinion (as i think all are gorgeous cars) the challenger looks incredibly bad ass. Sounds pretty awesome too

WhiteCrane, out of curiosity, what did you end up paying for the 2SS. If you do not mind the question that is. If you do not want to disclose that information, its understandable.

I owned a 2005 Mustang GT. Ordered it when they first came out (it was the only car I ever paid sticker for, uh, until this Camaro). I traded my 2001 Camaro Z28 in on the Mustang.
It was a premium with a 5 speed. I liked the car. It was very smooth with stable power. It wasn't overly fast to me. I got tired of the 5 speed and traded it for a brand new 2006GT automatic. My wife made fun because it was the same color as the 2005. I enjoyed the automatic, it just wasn't fast enough. 14.09 ET was best it would do. I went through two other new cars after the 2006 Mustang GT before my 2010 2SS. This is the car I wish my 2001 Z28 was. It's heavy, solid, and decent in the fast department. I bought my son a 2009 Mustang so I am definitely not a Mustang hater, but I'd go Camaro - hell - I did go Camaro! |
