Currently working on 2 68's, one is an SS/RS getting a full original restoration, the other is a 68 that was likely an SS, but I don't have any documentation, it was rough to start with and is getting the full treatment.

I have the motor built for custom one, which is a 427 LSX with twin turbos, the body is fully torn down and sand blasted, just waiting on more funds to send it off and get the body work done, then the fun part will start with the assembly of everything.

I thought I would have both built for the price of my 5th gen, but that has already been surpassed with the first build.

Well to tell u the truth, I was a little sceptical my self when I opened the box they came in. But after carful measuring and subsequent install, they fit ,with doors on awsome. They are full power 10 way, and are extremely supportive and comfortable. Just what my doctor ordered...literally!! Just gotto figure out how to get the GTO off of them.

Just have an interior shop stitch in new leather inserts in the seat centers. Maybe have the leather match the color of you car?

Ya good idea, its just that the closest fabric shop is 4 hours away (I llive in North west ONtario.) The seats will match the paint anyway (going all black), its getting the new fabric piece sown in to match the seats, thats the trick.
