I hear ya, lol. But the car made the name (especially since it was not even a name, but an rpo code) not the name...the car.

I have a soft spot for the Z-28 as my first Camaro was an 02 35th Anniversary Z-28 loaded, and while I would love to own another... it is being elevated and priced out of your average persons budget...

No, Mr. Hendrick is the premiere caretaker of the heritage and history of Chevrolet. He purchases GM/Chevy historical vehicles. He is THE man. Before you make such a calous statement you should research all that he has done, what he has, and how he is commited to preserving the historical Chevy record of all things badass Bowtie.

That's why I feel the 1LE could have been the Z-28, add a few more things price it at $45k and have it sit in between the SS and the ZL1... sells like hot cakes!

I know of Rick. But does he deserve all #1 cars that comes out in low production just because of his status? He's simply scooping them up to sit, collect dust and try to sell for a Mint later on. I'd think it should be first come first serve no? Give everyone a chance to obtain it.

Most of these are bought at BJ Auctions, so anyone can buy...with the top bid. It's just Rick has been the top bidder.

He is not the only one bidding on the cars he gets... If he wants to drop a million on a car and every penny goes to charity more power to him. Somebody else can have the car, they just have to outbid Rick!
