Thanks,it will be interesting to see how it holds up when i really put her through my track day at Fontana in Aug.My concern was cracking under stress,but we'll see.

Mine had a few scratches also when I got it. It looked like the hood liner was rubbing on it. I fixed mine with some metal polish and elbow grease also.

mine look pretty deep how bad was it when you used the polish. Im not sure but i dont think that will get rid of mine. it doesnt look like damage from the hood.

Mine wasn't scratched, but was starting to corrode due to the Coastal Texas salt air. I just rubbed mine down with a little engine oil until I decide if I want to paint or powder coat it. Y'all are giving me good ideas. It was the rough cast ends that were showing oxide corrosion.

Yes three pieces. Bracket on each end and the bar slides into the ends. I'll post a pic when my charcoal Plasti-dip comes in. For now I've only painted the bracket ends. Black and the bar will be gray, thought I had a pic of the ends, but I guess not. I'll take one tomorrow.

Well it's technically 3 pieces but (on mine at least) the ends are welded to the center section...
