Haha I flat out refused to let them do that "fix" to my fob!

I just got a 2015 and the dealer had already disassembled my keys.

Hate to say it, but he's right. I don't have anything on my Camaro key. They disassemble my key fob, then that will increase my chances of bumping the key.

They are still disassembling the key? They didn't come up with a new design?

Yeah this "fix" is pretty disappointing. Haven't let them touch my key.

Drove a Nissan 370 Z. Key fob to open close doors, push button start stop. No hanging keys worked like a charm. Come on GM. Of course you can "opt" out of the fix.
