I blocked off 19 rooms there also.

I actually live about 15-20 minutes from the track. My wife's family owns it!
Pell City is another good place if you can't find a room. We've got 2 hotels built within the last couple of years.

ok kbas. since you live soo close do you think you can contact the local Police Department and see if we do get all these members to meet up and drive a few miles together that we could get a police escort through the street lights and stop signs so we dont get broken up by having to stop..we just need someone to drive ahead sorta like a parade or what they do for funerals so we can keep together and all show up at once..and if you could maybe contact the local news channel or media and see if they can show up and film all of us making the few mile drive..that way we can have professional news feed of the parade, and get some people that dont know about it to come to the event with their camaros..

so if you can we would all appreciate it..we are planning on meeting at the new shopping center they have built not too long ago. im betting that the marriot is probably close to it..but if anything else since the address and info for the marriot is already posted maybe we all could just meet there..but non-the-less if you could find the name of the shopping center for us id very much appreciate it..that way we can all meet up there since there should be plenty of parking there for all of us. either PM me or let me know on the thread i started about the convoy to the MTI Funfest..preferrably the one posted on the northeast part of the forum..lol..thanks again man.

Lawman has the number for the Fairfield up on the sign up thread for Talladega. there are some rooms still available there as well..so sign up soon before they are gone..im going to call the fairfield now.
