Sounds about right. 2.5 pulley is about the same as my 9.55 pulley. But his torque is lower than it should be.
Here is mine after
9.5 pulley on Innovators West dampner
Rotofab intake
Kooks stepped headers and cats
ID850 injectors
KB BAP
Rotofab reservoir

I still had Kooks cats on at this point.

That just makes me sick......i spent 650 dollars for a tune from one of the highest rated and recommended tuners in DFW for 566 rwhp. The more i read and see the more i realize i should be well over 600...dude didnt even take my car on the street like their website brags about they do for tuning to get street tune correct.
....3 dyno pulls total and about 2 hours he spent on my tune. What a joke man. Im going elsewhere for my next tune and when i get the tune file pulled im going to air this shit out. Ridiculous...

I wouldn't worry about dyno numbers so much. They're good for tuning purposes to see what gains or losses in torque and hp you have. ( while tuning ). Mine dyno'd at 596 rwhp. I run low 11's on street tires and decent track prep in 1/4 mile. I know I have more than 600 actual hp to the rear.

I believe you have a bad tune as well...Do you feel comfortable in confronting the tuner to get it back on the dyno at no cost...Hate to see you spend money to correct what should never have been an issue...Good luck...

Dyno is one of the tightest around. Stock Zl1 is lucky to put down 500. It's a dynojet. It put up some big numbers, and then went to the safe side on the tune and put down right under 600. I'm happy with that.

Did the tune just need tweaking or was there any other problem with the car???And that dyno may not be as tight as you think...500HP on a stock ZL1 is a pretty good number if it's just a base run, the 580HP is at the crank, so by the time the power gets to the rear wheels most lose 80 to 100HP,A's a little more and M's a bit less...

New Mexico is high elevation. Those are corrected not real numbers. Injectors don't care about corrections.

enlighten me...

Are you saying I can run higher HP (corrected) with stock injectors? This was my next upgrade, before I throw anymore at it.

High elevation places like NM, CO, Utah typically have 20%+ correction factors. Your motor/clutch/fuelpump/injectors/etc don't give a shit about corrections. If you are making ~600rwhp SAE that means ~480rwhp actual. That is all the injectors care about. Find your dyno chart and look for the correction factor. That is why it is easy to set "stock block, stock whatever" records at high elevation. You can post a 1000rwhp stock block dyno sheet but car is only making 750rwhp with a 25% correction, so it doesn't care about what the car would make theoretically at sealevel on a nice day.

This is an interesting assumption...Can you explain the purpose of the correction factors and how they relate to the RWHP and if correction factors are not added would the RWHP number then be correct???His car has the mods to be a bit over 600 RWHP...If he remains with the same tune and drives the car at near sea level, what would his numbers be then (I would assume higher), and would it be possible that he could loose his motor based on what you stated???480 RWHP is a near base stock dyno number...
