I sent out about 50 pm's, I got replies back from about 15 people, they are mostly waiting for the date to get a little closer to commit. I registered over a week ago.
Looking forward to getting my car on the track

Got your PM Michael, I'll see if I have anything going on that weekend. Sounds like it could be alot of fun. It looks like it's about 2 1/2 hours from my house. I believe my fiance is out of town that weekend in Tampa, so may be a good weekend for me. I'll get back to you soon. I'd just do saturday too. A little costly though, looks like it's $250 for one day though if I'm correct

About 5 hours from my home. I'll decide by this weekend if I can make it. I think I have vacation scheduled during the 26th & 27th.

Couple tips for guys who don't have experience with High Performance Driving Events or Palmetto Motorsports Club:

1) Make sure you guys make your payment atleast 2 weeks before the event to take advantage of the $240 early bird special.
2) If you don't have a helmet and don't want to invest in one, go with one of theirs, they are good helmets and worth the deposit.
3) Make sure you have comfortable LONG SLEEVE clothes for the event. It may be hot, so you don't want to sweat your butts off in your car and they are not like SGMP, they WILL check for proper clothing
4) I like having my car inspected by a shop. This way there aren't any questions between the instructor and myself, if I end up doing it myself.

For anyone in the Charlotte area GMP Performance is outstanding. I think they charge maybe $25 for the inspection.
