Oh my of it's amazing. It took forever to get it all together but it was way worth it. And I cut my hangs a few times. It's so cool. I'm pretty upset GM didn't put it in the 2010s to begin with.

That negative comment was actually helpful for me - nobody has posted pics, so knowing that a hole in the dash has to be created makes me think harder about doing it. Maybe I need to drive a 2011 to see if I like it, then see what it looks like as a mod before deciding. Anyone got pics??

If you cut the hole right, it will look like the 2011 dash. Or, you can get the 2011 dash. Don't know if you've seen this thread but it's worth reading.

If you do a search on the HUD you will find alot of pictures and the DIY on installing the HUD unit. On the Thread that I started I did not feel that it was needed to repost pictures from a least two other threads that had alot of pictures covering nearly the entire install.

Took all of 10 minutes!

You reach up inside the rear fender to unclip and I turned the front wheels & did the screwdriver method.

Hardest part was the stupid plug!

Well all we would need to find out is how it connects to the car and if there are anymore or less cables it uses and we would probably need that new mirror but IDK.
