Talking San Diego Canyon Carving Cruise - 28JAN12

Decided to start a new thread with a poll so it would be easier to track attendees...

Ok folks, date is set for the next canyon cruise. We'll be meeting at Lowe's parking lot in Eastlake (Chula Vista) @ 0830 for a three hour canyon carving extravaganza out SR94. We'll have a lunch stop along the way. Several folks bring cameras and there is a professional photographer that posts up in a nice corner that you can buy action shots from. Last outing we had 3 Camaros and 4 Corvettes. Made for a great cruise. Expecting some Corvette Club of San Diego participation again this time as well. So post up your intentions. Come out and join us. Guaranteed good time. Just ask any of the folks that have already gone. Hope to see you there!

Time for another get-together canyon cruise up CA-94. Looking to get a good turnout for this spirited drive in east county.

When: 0830 Saturday, 28JAN12
Where: Meet at the Lowes parking lot in Eastlake (Chula Vista)
Distance: ~80 miles out and back
Stops: Lunch at Barret Junction Cafe just east of Dulzura
Duration: ~3 hours

If you've never been out this way the drive is great, the company is great, and the lunch isn't bad either. So post up and let's see who we can drag out for some fun on the long weekend.

Well the bar was set last time with more Corvettes showing than Camaros. COCSD is a great group of folks.and fun to cruise with. Would be nice to see the Camaro crowd show with as many cars.

BUMP!

Scott,

What gives? Didn't see you at the track on Friday and your not coming on the cruise? Didn't sell the Camaro did you?

The run is on our club calendar and our meeting is Friday night. I'll be sure to talk it up. I'll be surprised if there are fewer than 5 of us there this time.

The Corvette Club is "challenging" us...sa-weet!

I added this event to the CCSD Events Calendar: Camaro Club of San Diego Events Calendar

I will shoot an email to the Club's Activities Director (Curtis) so we can do an email blast to the entire Club membership!

Awesome, we keep it up and might need to stagger the start to keep from having a Camaro/Corvette train from Chula Vista to Delzura!
