Cancelled order-good luck to all
After three emails and Customer Service promising to have someone call me for the last week I cancelled my order. My signature says it all. No more GM's in my live time again.
Good luck to all pre-orders who are daily getting screwed and cannot find out anything from the poor excuse of a customer service department.

Sorry....but you should be blaming your dealer IMO. It's up to them to provide you the type of info you were most likely wanting.

GM execs chatting...........why arent Camaro sales better than they should be....Hmmmm MAYBE it's because word got out on how the REINVENT CUSTOMER SATISFACTION was a epic fail? MAYBE because when the guy down the block heard how the people who ordered the car was given the run around for weeks and months? I'm sure that guy will say GM didn't change and buy from another company. -bobby

I totaly get the frustration from the EARLY pr-order guys and gals. It seems to me alot of dealers went way over their alottment and didn't tell the people who ordered from them. I ordered my car on Feb 23rd and it's built, 9067, there were allready about 14000 orders when I placed mine. To this day my dealer has only taken 5 orders. Out of an initial alotment of 12.
Everyone bragged about refundable deposits and only 500 dollars or none at all. I went to a place where it was 1000 dollars non-refundable but my car is built and on it's way. It's not necesarily a GM thing but a dealer thing I think. Maybe it will all come out in the wash. |

I know I could have waited and waiting was not my reason for cancelling.
I took the time to email Customer Service and I have three emails back giving me a Customer Service rep's name who was suppose to be calling me. But nothing. I called her with the direct number that they gave me and nothing again. I asked that if there was a problem with the v-6 manual transmission could they give my dealer the okay to change my order and nothing again. I had a TPW of 5/4 and nothing again. A returned call would have resolved this issue. I ordered first at my dealership and was first to go in and I am seeing 10k cars made and I cannot get a call back from them. Would it have been too hard to say yes you can change your order to an automatic or to say anything at all? Sorry everyone but this was unacceptable. Good luck to all who is waiting and I wish you the best.

This has been the strangest thing ever. I would allmost be willing to bet money that your car is built. We've had a number of members look out their front window at the driveway at their car and STILL show 3800 in the system at the dealer.
