Camaro looks hideous as a vert, not feeling it at all looks like an ant with a big ass.

Looks like fun. Should spark some extra sales next year. Now you won't have to rent a Mustang when you want a convertible on vacation.

I like it .Would like to see it with top up see if it has glass or plastic rear window wouldnt have it with plastic. Plastic looks bad after a year or two.

The full length spoiler needs to be re-thought, there are plenty of better aftermarket ones. Hopefully they put a better one on the Z28. They should have just made the spoiler bigger and put the 3rd brake light in it like the Third Gens did instead of that thing above the trunk.

I LOVE it !!!!

I wish GM released it the same time as the hard top....... I wonder if GM would consider a "SPECIAL" upgrade program for those of us who couldn't wait this long for the rag top ???

No problem, I am on a list at my local dealer.

For those that don't like the shark fin, what do you suggest? Give GM a location that would make you happy. But as the base car has a shark fin, the convertible will get one as well.

The Corvette convertible doesn't have one because the coupe doesn't have one. There really isn't a good place to put a shark fin on the Corvette Coupe. On the hatch? No room. On the roof bow? Not there either so the OSRVM was the choice..........an expensive choice btw.

Creating multiple solutions for the same part is harder for the assembly plant as well.
The coupe doesnt have rear brake light in that location, so why would it be that bad to put the OSRVM on the Convertible? They have to re-work the wiring to put it on the trunk lid anyway, so just move it to the window.

Wasn't one of the forum vendors trying to do a T top conversion? I wonder what happened to that?

That way the people who don't like the convertible will have an option.

The brake light should be on the backside of the trunk lip spoiler. Looks like crap where it is, also the fin looks like crap.

Otherwise its nice.

The Only reason I would want a conv would be better view out the back.

I don't understand people that post here that they don't like it, never have, etc... I'm waiting on the vert so this is again, another post I really appreciate and it again, helps me feel more comfortable with waiting. If you already bought a coupe, great! If you are a potential buyer, then this is more eye candy as you wait to purchase your car. I love the Camaro and have been waiting years for the vert. If they put an antenna here, or a keyhole there, or a spoiler that is too long, etc..., it isn't going to change my opinion because that is what aftermarket parts and custom work is for! I would have liked a hard tonneau cover, but it won't dissuade me if it doesn't have it. It just would have been REALLY nice...

Love the new pictures. Best of the convertible yet (in showing details like the antenna, of which I don't see the radio one anymore) and seeing the top down from the side with a little elevation also let's me know what it looks like when you drop that top for a spur of the moment topless ride.

I LOVE IT!
Thanks!!
