In all 50 states, long as you have dual side mirrors, the back window can be blacked out. You don't even have to have a rear window.

look closer and you can see its that see through stuff that looks solid until you get close, its full of holes like a mesh tshirt.

Wrong!

In NC, the windows on a car can only be as dark as 32 % including the rear glass.

There are no laws for just cars, neither pickup trucks or Vans have to have rear windows you can see into or out of.

If they can't force you to have a window or an obstructed view [pulling a trailer] how in the heck can they tell you it can't have tint on glass, where by law your not forced to have glass?

Driver side windows and windshield is different.

Why Limo's only have the back half blacked out.

Any rear window tint ticket would be over turned easily in court if you had dual mirrors. If they can't by law force you to have a rear window, how can they enforce tint on it???

They can't...........

only a fool takes the law for its word.

Go read your local law on tint and back glass. Better yet read federal dot laws while your at it. When you can come back with an answer with some backing other than your personal belief than come talk. Until then you're making yourself look like an idiot by just rattling off false information.

I know in California as long as you have TWO side mirrors, you dont need a rear window. Its posted on the DMV website.... Otherwise... how would all those cargo vans that ALL the american car makers produce EVER BE SOLD!!!!

no tint is allowed on the front window,
35% on passenger and driver door
the back can be as dark as you want

The statement might be false for all 50 states... no need to call him a Moron..... if anyones a moron its you...cause I read my local laws and I can do whatever I want to the rears

You are also incorrect for California.

No tint on windshield.
70% on fronts.
Rear sides and back window=ANY darkness
