Has anybody thought of this?
I think it would be cool if GM made it where you could change the ambient lighting to different colors. My brother in law used to have a truck where he could change the colors on all the dash lights to red, blue, green, orange and all that.

My girlfriend has a 2010 Mustang and her's can change colors, along with the dash and all the other interior lighting which I think is cool.

yeah the mustangs ambient lighting is done very well. you can change the color of the footwell/ door sill plate/ cup holders. then change the color of the gauges, then change the color of the surrounding area of the gauges. all separately and to your liking

Yeah Ford did a much better job on the interior lighting. On a side note, does anyone know of any companies that are doing the modification to make the front light strip illuminated like the door panels? There was some posts about how to DIY but I'm not going to attempt it, I'm not that confident in myself. The DIY instructions said you could use any color LED you wanted. Of course you wouldn't be able to change colors with a flip of the switch, you would have to install different colored LED's.

The aftermarket will probably have more lighting options soon.
100,000 Camaros per year is a huge aftermarket draw. |

I love the blue on the door panels, but I wouldn't mind being able to change the colors with my moods.

I would rather Ford spent the money on a six-speed or 400 HP than the lighting system. I just leave "my lighting" on green so it matches the center console which can't be changed.
Cheers. |
