We spotted this beautiful 1969 Chevrolet Camaro 737 SS Drag Racer testing at Count Line Dragway in Miami-Dade.

Engine:
Is a 747ci built by Nelson Competition in Pinellas Park Fl, it has a billet aluminum 5.00inch bore center CN block , sonnys 13degree heads , sheet metal intake , split dominators , and 4 Speed tech nitrous systems "only use 3".

The data logging is done by Racepak , and the Nitrous is controlled and timed by Spaghetti Menders bank to bank system , which allows to take a single nitrous system and use it in two steps one half at a time.

The transmission is a powerglide with a lock up converter built by ATI Performance. It has a timer that can be set that when triggered it opens a solenoid and sends fluid to the clutch pack mounted on the front of the converter and locks the clutch in turn locking the engine and driveshaft to a 1 to 1 ratio , no slip!

The chassis was built by Sheppard race cars in Ga, with the help from Attilio Derosa at Double AA Performance have made significant advances with the rear suspension and other aspects of the chassis.
